Pastor William C. Jenkins

The Reverend William C. Jenkins is a native of Fayetteville, NC and son of St. Luke A.M.E. Church. He is the oldest of three children born to William H. and Rebecca Washington-Jenkins (both deceased). He is the grandson of Reverend Rufus Washington and Deaconess Lillie Myers-Washington (both deceased). Reverend Jenkins and his wife, Robin, are the proud parents of five daughters: Joy, Tara, Rebecca, Victoria, and Anaiah.

Reverend Jenkins attended school in the Fayetteville Cumberland County school system until moving to Danville, KY. He completed High School in the Danville City school system, and furthered his education at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY. He is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

Reverend Jenkins served in the Navy for three years and was employed by Norfolk & Southern Corp. for 27 years as a Locomotive Engineer.

His pastorals include Jacobs Chapel A.M.E. Church in Turnersville, KY, Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Monticello, KY, Bethel A.M.E. Church in Stanford, KY, ST James A.M.E. Church in Danville, KY, St. Peter A.M.E. Church , Harrodsburg Ky and most recently, Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church in Lexington, KY.

As a pastor, he has encouraged his churches to underwrite their dreams and support their missions and Community Commitment without excuses. In other words, do what the Lord wants you to do: Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick, and preach the gospel.
